  • Middleware for Semantic Web Services
    • Allows service providers to focus on their business,
  • Environment for goal based discovery and invocation
    • Run-time binding of service requesters and providers,
  • Provide a flexible Service Oriented Architecture
    • Add, update, remove components at run-time as needed,
  • Keep open-source to encourage participation
    • Developers are free to use in their own code, and
  • Define formal execution semantics
    • Unambiguous model of system behavior.
