HTTP Example – Retrieving FOAF profile

  • Example is relying on curl which is a command line tool used to transfer data with URL syntax
    • Supports many protocols such as FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, SCP, SFTP, etc.

  • curl usage pattern is simple:

    $ curl -v http://www.google.at
