Knowledge-based systems (KBS)

KBS are realized based on a knowledge base (KB).

KB contains a model represented in a (logical) formalism which can be interpreted by an interpreter (inference engine) that is able draw conclusions from it.

KBs typically capture knowledge of a domain.
